It really is the most wonderful time of they year!  And Perth is the place to be at Christmas time.  There are some amazing Christmas carols around town as well as plenty of other Perth Christmas events. We have found lots of carols from the city to the suburbs.

These Christmas carols Perth events are family friendly and finish at a reasonable time to get the children home to bed.  You can take your own chairs and picnic blankets as well as a picnic or have the night off and buy dinner when you get there. Don’t forget to wear some Christmas earrings and take your Christmas candles to create that festive feeling.

Perth has so many amazing Christmas carols across the city, you are spoiled for choice.  Luckily, we have done the hard work and found them all for you!

Hamersley Carols

Go along with your friends and family to enjoy and experience the joy of Christmas. As usual, there will be a wide range of carnival games for the children, bouncy castle as well as a toddler side for the little ones. This year they even have an RAC Rescue Experience Simulator Helicopter!!

There will also be food and drinks available at the venue! Later in the evening, there will be a Christmas carol with the Salvation Army Band and Choir under the gumtrees!

Community Christmas Carols @ Como

Christmas carols Como

Youth performance, picnic, sausage sizzle, face painting, sing-along carols. Bring folding chair and picnic blanket. All are welcome.

Carols by Candlelight – Armadale

In an annual Christmas tradition, the City of Armadale invites you to join in the festive spirit of the holiday season with Carols by Candlelight Perth, led by the award-winning Armadale City Concert Band. This family friendly Christmas event is bursting with community pride and celebration as it showcases some of the incredible talent from the Armadale area.

When: Saturday 2 December – 5:30pm – 8pm

Christmas Carols by Candlelight – Peppermint Grove

The Peppermint Grove Carols by Candlelight committee, together with the Shire of Peppermint Grove, invite you and your families to join them for the annual Carols by Candlelight event at Manners Hill Park. So take your picnic rug, your best singing voice, your family and neighbours, and enjoy the true spirit of Christmas this night brings.

Carols by the Jetty

A whole community experience – enjoy an evening of carols, family fun and celebrating Christmas – presented by the churches of Busselton.

Carols by Candlelight – Canning

Featuring the Canning City Brass Band, Rossmoyne Community Singers, Avenue Jazz Band plus special guests, singalong and have a boogie to classic and new carols (program provided with lyrics). With roving entertainment, kid’s craft activities and delicious food trucks – you’ll be spoilt for choice for this family favourite night out.

Christmas in Concert

Celebrate the Christmas season with a showcase of Yuletide favourite’s performed by powerhouse vocalist Sophie Foster, cabaret darling Peter Cumins and maestro Joe Louis Robinson. This talented trio will transport you to a festive wonderland as they perform all of the classic Christmas carols, transporting you to a festive wonderland!It really is the most wonderful time of the year! We challenge you to dress in your best Christmas costume.

Santa’s Symphony in the Park

Santa’s Symphony in the Park, a FREE community carols event featuring the amazing Perth Symphony Orchestra and talented vocalists in an all-new Burswood Park location!

Sing along to your favourite classic, traditional and modern Christmas songs with family and friends as you soak up the summer evening atmosphere on the old Burswood Park golf course, a more spacious location that is closer to the Stadium Station for ease of access.

There will be activities to keep the kids entertained before the main show starts at 6.30pm – including giant bubbles, lawn games, animal experience, airbrush tattooists, and plenty more. This year’s performance will also be broadcast to THREE large screens, so everyone has a great view.

Carols on the Lake

Bring a picnic, a rug, and your friends to a wonderful evening of outdoor carols hosted by St Matthew’s Anglican Church, Shenton Park. Join with the community in the beautiful open air of Lake Jualbup as they celebrate together this Christmas. 5:30pm Picnic & Fun with kid’s activities. 6:00 – 7:00pm Carols.

When: Sunday 25 December from 5:30pm

Claremont Carols in the Park

Join Claremont for an evening Christmas Carols and family fun. When the sun sets, light up a candle as we sing carols performed by Western Australia Symphony Orchestra. There will be a fantastic selection of food stalls to stop your bellies from rumbling, so bring along a picnic basket, grab a bite, and settle in for a festive evening under the stars. And if you keep your eyes peeled you might spot Santa!!

When: Saturday 16 December – 4:30 – 8pm

This is a free event for the whole community. Entertainment and activities kick off at 4.30pm, with carols starting at 6.30pm.

Carols in the Park – Barridale Park & Mason Park

Jingle all the way..to the… park. Head on over and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year in the park. Take a picnic blanket and chairs, and enjoy the sounds of Christmas. Kids can even post Santa their Christmas wishes with ease, in the Santa mail box!

Enjoy an evening of festive fun, featuring the WA Symphonic Wind Ensemble and Sweet Thursday Community Singers, followed by Christmas classics from our Christmas party band.

In an annual Christmas tradition, the City of Armadale invites you to join in the festive spirit of the holiday season with Carols by Candlelight. This family-friendly Christmas event is bursting with community pride and celebration as it resonates the incredible community spirit we have right here in Armadale! You are invited to enjoy the evening in person or tune into the livestream broadcasted via the City’s website.

The evening begins early with the Christmas Parade and features a variety of colourful characters and performances by local community groups, providing an exciting spectacle for the young and imaginative.

  1. Forgot one of the biggest. Carols in the Park, sponsored by City of Swan and the Potters House. It’s at Gregorini Park in Ellenbrook. Free camel rides, real life nativity scene with animals for the kids to Pet, jumping castle and then kicking off with the Carols production at 8pm.

  2. I love hearing Christmas carols sung in churches around Perth! There are so many great places to see carols performed, and I’m sure I haven’t seen them all!
