Brisbane is the perfect place to visit this Christmas – stylish shopping, superb eating and drinking and a jam-packed Christmas events programme against a city centre backdrop of glittering festive lights. The city is not the only place to have the best Christmas markets; the suburbs are full of them as well.

BrisStyle Brisbane Twilight Market 2023

Wander through the variety of stalls showcasing the best of locally-based designers. Admire artisanal hand-crafted goods underneath the gorgeous glow of City Hall. Expect unique ranges of summer clothing, inspiring artworks to adorn your walls, cleverly crafted ceramics and so much more! It’s the perfect place to get your Christmas shopping done in one swoop! There’ll be food stalls to keep your tummy satisfied with yummy treats alongside live musical entertainment.

Carseldine Christmas Twilight Markets 2023

This 18th of November, defrost your cold heart with a cup of Christmas cheer at Brisbane’s beloved Christmas market, Carseldine Christmas Twilight Market!

Strive for your Santa bod with gourmet eats and sweets and get those stockings stocked with the goods from bespoke makers. Get ready to rock the night away with festive entertainment and live music.

Fish Lane Christmas Markets 2023

Fish Lane Markets are returning this December for a festive local shopping event at Town Square, South Brisbane.

They are shutting down the road between Hope and Grey Street featuring an array of independent local makers and designers selling the likes of ceramics, art, accessories, plants, dog accessories, natural skincare and more.

Portside Christmas Markets 2023

Celebrate Christmas at Portside Wharf. The Market Folk join the Northshore Santa Boat Parade! Enjoy over 50 market stalls offering flowers, plants, ceramics, jewellery, skincare, decor and more. There will be a live band on the wharf and delicious food trucks too

The Handmade Christmas Markets

Gasworks Christmas Markets 2023

Skip the shopping centre and shop small this festive season – the perfect December night to finish up your local Christmas shopping! Join in for the final monthly design market hosted by The Market Folk at Gasworks Plaza’s Gasometer. Shop fashion, art, vintage, homewares, plants, pots, ceramics, children’s, skincare and more!

Jingle All the Bay 2023

Join in to celebrate Christmas on the Sandgate Bayside with a Festive Street Party and Christmas Parade. Proudly presented by the Sandgate and Districts Chamber of Commerce, at this years markets there will be:

  • stages of entertainment,
  • meet and greet with Santa,
  • Winter Wonderland Laneway,
  • food and Christmas Markets,
  • Whoville themed area with entertainment,
  • amusement rides and
  • an animal farm and so much more.

Don’t miss the Christmas street parade at 7pm! There will be plenty of street parking within walking distance.

Nundah Christmas Twilight Market 2023

Make a list, check it twice and hurry down the chimney to Nundah Christmas Twilight Markets on December 2nd. From 4pm ’til 10pm they’ll be slinging gourmet eats and drinks, stuffing your Christmas stockings with unique, handmade gifts, shimmying to live music and tiring the kids out with elf-approved fun! There will be eats and drinks, pop-up bars, photos with Santa and plenty of entertainment.

Redcliffe Christmas Twilight Market 2023

‘Tis the season to SPARKLE, and Redcliffe Markets annual pop-up Christmas Twilight Markets will be doing just that… and SO much more! The Collective Markets Christmas Edition 2023

TThe QAGOMA Christmas Design Market is back and bigger than ever, with more than 50 of Brisbane’s best local independent artisans. Treat yourself and those you love to a handmade gift from their diverse selection of handmade ceramics, jewelry, homewares, textiles and clothing, and maybe even pop in to GOMA to check out their latest exhibition,

Redlands Coast Christmas and Santa Paws Markets 2023

Redlands Coast Collective Markets are a boutique market selling Arts & Crafts, Handmade Items, Vintage & Pre-Loved fashion, toys, household items and supporting local small creative Business, stall holders and the Redlands Coast Community.

Held at the Faith Lutheran College Redlands these Markets are the largest on the Redlands Coast and are the perfect place to pick up a beautiful unique gift, shop for a new outfit or amazing Market find and support local business.

Shop boutique market stalls in fashion, vintage, art, craft and design, scour the pre-loved Rack Sales and grab yourself a morning bite to eat and a coffee as you enjoy the beautiful Redlands Coast.

Christmas Markets Brisbane

So there you have it!  The best of Christmas market shopping in Brisbane.  The weather is hot, so be prepared with hats, sun cream and water!  One of the best things about local markets is that you can find a bargain or spend a bit more if you want. You may even find the perfect Christmas gift for your child’s teacher. Lots of Brisbane Christmas carols can be found at markets too!
