With the festive season just around the corner, we shine the spotlight on some cracking Christmas markets in and around Adelaide. From stunning, original artwork and home wear gifts, to mulled wine, decorative baubles and doggie bow ties, you can pick up a vast array of thoughtful gifts that will definitely get a smile on Christmas morning.
From the inner suburbs to the outer suburbs, we have a selection of big and small markets, daytime markets and nighttime markets and markets that will not break the bank. Xmas markets are a great place to find just the right present for even the fussiest of people.

Gawler Apex Club Community Christmas Markets 2024
The Gawler Apex Club is excited to bring back the much-loved Community Christmas Markets this year. Apex Park in Gawler will be transformed into a festive hub, filled with local crafts, delicious food, and a lively community atmosphere. This event offers the perfect opportunity to embrace the holiday spirit, support local artisans and businesses, and find unique gifts for friends and family.
Convenient parking will be available on Goose Island, ensuring easy access to the event. This is a fantastic chance to celebrate the season and enjoy a special community gathering.

Vergeside Markets 2024
The Vergeside Markets returns with our Twilight Christmas Market on December 21st 1pm until 9pm on the Foreshore at Largs Bay. They have an absolutely huge range of 70+ stalls, including a young entrepreneurs market (where young entrepreneurs will showcase their products), delicious food, coffee, bars, live music and a DJ, as well as entertainment for the children and a visit from Santa.
This free community event is for everyone, so gather your friends and family (fur babies included) and head to the foreshore for a great day (and evening) and to pick up some of those last minute pressies or to spoil just yourself.
Shop local, eat local, drink local and most of all support local.

Campbelltown Moonlight Markets 2024
This family friendly, outdoor market features 90 artisan craft and fashion stalls, food and wine, music and roving entertainment, free craft activities and a large playground for the children. Held in the picturesque Thorndon Park, Paradise. Go along to discover hidden treasures, try new food and wine experiences, sit back and enjoy the night!

Christkindlmarkt 2024
A European-style Christmas market based in the German town of Hahndorf, Christkindlmarkt is organised and run by C3 Church Adelaide Hills. The market captures the essence of community, celebration, fun, laughter & family enjoying time together, such as is found in many cities in Europe over the Christmas period. Heralded as the largest market event for Adelaide over the December Christmas period, the Bazaar extends out onto South Boulevard to include a street style market, plus over 100 stalls inside the iconic brick dairy.

Ebenezer Night Market 2024
With the aid of outdoor lighting, casual dining areas and smooth tunes, the Ebenezer Night Markets illuminate the natural beauty of the street and provide an opportunity for some of Adelaide’s most creative artisans and foodies to create an outdoor shopping experience to remember.

Gathered Design Market 2024
This December, Gathered Design Market heads up the Hill once again to the German Village of Hahndorf for a special Christmas Edition, as people gather together to shop and support local SA designers, artisans + small businesses.

Gilles Present the Gift Bazaar 2024
Gilles Street Market originated in 2008 in the heart of the city, Adelaide at the historic, Gilles Street Primary School. Heralded as Adelaide’s original fashion and design marketplace, Gilles Street has provided a platform for emerging and established designers to showcase their work, whilst also encouraging an ethical environment for pre-loved/vintage sellers. The Mawson Centre Christmas Market 2024
