Woolworths metropolitan stores are open until 9pm Christmas Eve and then are closed on Christmas Day. Woolies stores will re-open at 8am on Boxing Day, trading until 6pm.

Shops open on Christmas Day in Perth

Western Australia’s trading laws allow small retail stores to open every day of the year, but you’ll be hard pressed to find many shops open Christmas Day in Perth. To be safe, you’ll need to get your shopping done by Christmas Eve.

Major stores including K-Mart, Big W, Target, Myer, David Jones, Bunnings and Ikea will all close on Christmas Day. Check each store’s websites for the most up-to-date Christmas trading hours for your nearest store.

K-Mart – Stores will close at 9pm on Christmas Eve and will re-open at 8am on Boxing Day.

Big W – All stores close Christmas Day and trading 8am-6pm Boxing Day.

Myer – Myer stores close at 5.30pm Christmas Eve and are closed Christmas Day. Stores re-open on Boxing Day.

Ikea stores will close at 5pm on Christmas Eve except for Tempe and remain closed for Christmas Day. Stores re-open at 9am on Boxing Day.
